Ariel Grenier - Dance instructor

Ariel began dancing at the age of three at Studio One for Dancers in Oakland, ME. Here, she trained in tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical and gymnastics. She began attending the Maine Dance Teacher’s workshops as an assistant teacher in 2005 and now attends the workshops year round as an active member and teacher. Dance has always been her passion and it has been a dream to spread her love of dance to people of all ages. Ariel attended the University of Maine in Orono. She has degrees in Psychology and Early Development and loves working with children. At the University of Maine, Ariel choreographed and danced in many Showcases and participated multiple times in the American Collegiate Dance Festival across New England. She has also performed with Robinson Ballet, The Federation Dance Company in London, University of Limerick, Ireland Competition Team, and various local dance studios. Ariel has performed in the Waterville Opera House productions of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and the US Premier of Fame Forever. She has also acted as dance captain in Mary Poppins, Young Frankenstein and the Little Mermaid. Ariel is the head dance teacher at Next Generation Dance Studio and teaches dance at Studio One for Dancers and Cassie’s School of Dance during the school year as well.
