Welcome to Maine Arts Camp
At Maine Arts Camp, creative kids thrive! With top notch instruction in the visual arts, theatre, music, dance, writing, photography, filmmaking, cooking and more, campers develop skills, try new activities, and most importantly, make lifelong friendships. Campers connect with other kids with similar interests as part of our small, caring camp community.
Campers love participating in activities such as Black and White Film Photography, Stained Glass, Fiction Writing, Musical Theater, Kayaking, Cartooning and Baking, while also connecting with new and old friends through camp songs, fun evening activities, dorm night and more!
Maine Arts Camp makes for a wonderful first camp experience that attracts kids back year after year when they know “This is where I fit in.”

What Parents are Saying
I can’t tell you how much it means to us to know that the Maine Arts Camp counselors are not just caring for our kids but are also truly getting to know them as well!
– Tom and Corrie Dretler, Wayland, Massachusetts
A much more secure girl came home from camp, loving who she is and celebrating her differences. Thank you for fostering that in her. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
– Jen P., Rye, NH
You have put together an amazing staff, kept numbers smaller, provided an unbelievable variety of things for them to try, made things very personal, interesting, exciting, relaxed and fun. I love the college campus where you are located, too!
– Karyn & Dan B., Amherst, NH.
Very nurturing camp! Warm and welcoming to everyone. No cliques. My daughter went by herself, not knowing anyone and feeling a little down before she left. She came home on top of the world! She made new friends and felt like she really fit in. It was a great experience for her at the right time!

Meet Our Staff
Since our camp is smaller than most overnight camps, we can be more selective in the hiring process, be it with the teachers and professionals who teach most of our activities or with the dorm staff who live with and care for our campers. We hire North American staff, with most of the staff living in the New England area.
