Jennifer Aguirre

My name is Jennifer Aguirre. I am a School Nurse in Maine and have been a part of the nursing team at Maine Arts Camp for 3 years. I grew up in Vermont and moved to Maine in 1993 where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Southern Maine. I have 22 years of acute care hospital experience with a focus on orthopedics and neurology. I transitioned to school nursing 8 years ago and i currently work in a school with PreK to grade 5. My husband is an educator and we have 2 daughters ages 14 and 21. I enjoy being creative, gardening, live music, walking the beach, raising my chickens and adventures with my family and our dog, Echo.
