The Maine Arts Camp Experience

Are you looking to be part of a small, dedicated group of creative staff? At Maine Arts Camp, we have a mix of seasoned teachers, professionals, young teachers and college students, all interested in working with children and teens. Since we are a small camp community of about 90 campers and 30 staff, with a large number of returning staff each summer, we can be selective in the hiring process. Younger staff get to learn from more experienced teachers, while everyone benefits from working from with our interesting and creative camper population.

At Maine Arts Camp, our focus is on the individual camper, working hard to integrate everyone into an accepting and inclusive community. Although the campers may learn how to fuse glass, choreograph a dance, sing a song, upcycle clothing, shoot an arrow, or paddle a kayak, our main focus is on giving each and every camper the best growth experience possible. If this sounds like a place you would like to work, you can download the staff application from our web site.
